Mr. Cromartie is President and CEO of Millennium Consulting Services, LLC. Bruce is responsible for providing regulatory services to the insurance industry in the area of insurance educational training seminars, regulatory consulting, management services, and other regulatory matters.

Professional Accomplishments

  • 30 years of results-oriented, hands-on insurance and regulatory experience from both a regulator and insurer's perspective.

  • Successfully established regulatory consulting service and seminar services division for SunGard Insurance Systems, a publicly traded company.

  • Successfully advocated changes to NAIC investment regulations resulting in a $37 billion increase for Blue Cross and Blue Shield Plans to invest in managed care organizations.

  • Successfully provided regulatory advocacy services on behalf of BCBS Plans and other managed care organizations to insurance regulators and the NAIC.

  • Developed comprehensive financial analysis model used by the NAIC and all state insurance departments for determining potentially troubled insurers.

  • Annually speak at various insurance related conferences and training seminars.

  • Chaired and served on various NAIC statutory accounting and reporting advisory groups.

  • Lead the development and adoption of the NAIC Health Blank.

  • Lead the development and adoption of Health Risk-Based Capital.

  • Lead the development and adoption of the health codification accounting principles currently in the NAIC Accounting Practices and Procedures Manaual.
